CARBON FIBER

Carbon fiber technology has been readily adopted in the manufacturing of bicycles for being lightweight while retaining incredible stiffness. This translates to fast, nimble bikes on the trail.
Santa Cruz utilises two types of carbon fiber in their bikes: the high-end “CC” models with ultra featherweight Competition Carbon; and the regular “C” models that bring the benefits of carbon fiber at affordable prices.
VPP SUSPENSION

Virtual Pivot Point® comprises of two short, counter-rotating links that manage pedalling, braking, and bump forces. Riding a Santa Cruz bike equipped with VPP in the trail, you’d feel like there is more travel than usual and the bike launches forward when you crank down on the pedals.
The VPP suspension platform also works with regular shock tunes, meaning future upgrades are a breeze. Furthermore, VPP also allow the frames to be designed with a one-piece rear triangle that is both stiff and efficient. It is what lets Santa Cruz create some of the best bikes in the world.
